Show & Tell

This morning, the kids and I were at their school for what is called "Moms & Muffins." For "Moms & Muffins" you come with your kids early to school to enjoy juice and muffins while you read together. We finished up with the sound of the first bell and they were off for their classes, or so I thought.

About five minutes later, I was visiting with a few other moms in the cafeteria, Scott came running back in and with urgency he said, "It's Friday... show & tell day... I forgot to bring show & tell!...(looking at the stroller then back at Mom)...But, really I didn't... Gracie! Gracie is my show & tell."

So out the window with my morning walk, Grace stayed for show & tell. He told the class how she was his baby sister, she is two, she never leaves her doll, Dee-Dee, behind (of course Dee-Dee was there), how they love to play with Legos together, and that he loves her. What a great way to start out the day!

How cute. It's always nice to know that deep down, the kids really do love and appreciate each other. :)
